Sally Morgenthaler Joins ChapterNext Team

Head ShotSally Morgenthaler, a veteran pastor search and church staffing consultant, has joined the ChapterNext team. Since 2008, Morgenthaler has helped both evangelical and mainline congregations find quality lead pastors and worship staff.  Now she brings her knowledge and expertise to ChapterNext, a Chicago-land based pastor search and church staffing consultancy.

Morgenthaler is recognized as an innovator in Christian practices worldwide. Known best for her books, Worship Evangelism and Emerging Worship, Morgenthaler became a trusted interpreter of North American cultural trends and a guide to the crucial shifts necessary to engage new perspectives and generations.  With her on the team, ChapterNext has become the leader among search firms staffing congregations with worship pastors and leaders.

Morgenthaler has coached congregations from 100 to 20,000, helping leaders navigate key transitions in identity, vision, and implementation.  Her skills facilitating “conversations that matter” have helped congregations transcend dysfunctional patterns, develop healthy communication pathways, and establish collaborative models for greater impact in their communities.

Morgenthaler has been an adjunct professor on leadership, culture, and worship at a number of academic institutions, including Yale University, Asbury Seminary, Bethel Seminary, Denver Seminary, Fuller Seminary, George Fox Seminary, Gordon Conwell Seminary, The Seattle School of Theology, Baylor University, Oral Roberts University, Regent University, Texas Christian University, the Claremont Institute for Continuing Ministry Studies, and the Calvin Institute for Worship.

She has also been a featured speaker at national worship conferences and is known for her long-running leadership columns in Rev Magazine and Worship Leader Magazine, as well as contributions to Leadership Journal and Outreach magazines.
